Re: Kennedale Ordinance Adopting Provisions of
Title 28
AREA CODE 817
335-4448
Dear Tyne:
Confirming our telephone conversation, I found the
recordation of the captioned Ordinance, adopted on September
21, 1950, recorded on September 26, 1950, in Vol. 2239,
at Page 477, of the Deed Records of Tarrant County, Texas.
Enclosed for your file is a certified copy of the
Ordinance, which I purchased from the clerk. You will
note it also changed the name from the Village of Kennedale
to the City of Kennedale.
In my opinion, this is sufficient for the adoption
of the provisions of the first ten chapters of Title 28,
giving Kennedale the status of a general law city, rather
than town or village, from the date of its adoption.
Very truly yours,
de M. arsh- 1, Jr.
