1. The meeting was duly called to order at 8 P. T•. by the T~iayor. Upon a.
roll call of councilmen, Councilmen Evans, Flake, Turner, T~Zorris, and ~~dinters
~,nd Mayor I~lebb were present; no counci]men were absent. The City Secretary was
~.sked to read the minutes of the previous meeting of October 5, 1951, and the
special meeting of October 18, 1951. Upon completion of the reading of the minutes
of the said previous regular and special meetiLngs, there being no objections or
omissions noted to the same, the said minutes were proclaimed to stand approved
as read.
2. Councilman Flake duly moved that Councilman Evans be appointed Judge
of the Corporation Court of the City of Kennedale, Texas. Councilmen ~~Jinters
duly seconded the motion and upon vane taken the same was unanimously passed.
3. Councilm~:n Evans duly moved that a direct ad valorem tax be levied
for the year 1951 on all property, real, personal and mixed, situated within the
territorial limits of the City of Kenneda7_e, Texas, for the use and support of the
municipal government of the City of ILennedale, Texas, of 50¢ on each `;:100.00 valu-
ation of property. Councilman Turner dul3T seconded the motion and upon vote taken
the said motion was unanimously passed.
~.. Councilman Turner duly moved that T~irs. ~ . S. Flake be appointed Tar
hssessor-Collector and Secretary to theCity of Kennedale Tax Board of Equalization.
Councilman Evans duly seconded the motion and upon vote taken, the same was un-
animously passed.
~.,~ 5. Councilman Flake duly moved that the City of Kennedale Tax Board of
equalization set for the purpose of adjusting texes for all applicants on December
13, 1951, from the hours of 9 a. I~. until 7 P. Tl.

6. I~ . J. :``.. Tracy was present ~:nd in persuar_ce to his contract before
made with the City of Iiennedale, Texas, reported that he had completed all
tax appraisals for ad valorem tax purposes within the City of ?~enneda7_e, Te~:as.
7. Upon motion duly made, seconded and carried, the meeting adjourned
at 10:15.
