1. The meeting was duly cslled to order at x:00 P. I. by the lia~ror. Upon
a ro11 call of counts lr.en, Councilx:~.en Evans, Flake, Harper, Turner and Mayor ZJebb
were present; Councilan ~Tin'cers was ab: ent. The City Secreta,r~yr was as':cod to read
the minutes of the previous meeting, to-wit, the regular n~eetinb of December 7, 1951.
ITpon cor~ipletion of the reading of the minutes of the regular meeting of December 7,
1951, there being no objections or omissions noted to the sane, the said minutes were
proclaimed to stand approved as read.
2. Councilman Flake duly moved that the Ordinance i~unber 1L; pertain~.ng
to the ordering and holding of a general election for the City of Ilennec'~a1_e be adopted;
Counci.lr~.~ Turner duly second the motion and the same was un2nir!ously passed by all
council~~i.en present.
3. CounciJ~~an Evans duly moved that Ordinance P~ur:ber 15 pertainir_g to the
nux?be-r of councilmen to be elected and the manner of deciding which courcilrien sha11
holiz office for one and two year terms be adopted; Councils-pan Harperr duly second the
r~lotion and upon vote taken the same was unaniriously Massed by all councili~aen present.
