1. The meeting was duly called to order at &:00 i'. ii. after ti~laiver of
T~otice of said special meeting was signed by all the members of said council. Upon
roll ca11 of councilmen, Councilmen Fv~ns, F1ske Harper, Turner, ~Jinters and I-ayor
~`Jebb were present; no councilmen were absent.
?_. motion was duly made by Councilman Evsazs that Frank B. T~Ici~ahon, Inc.
of Dallas be awarded and delivered :;;65,000.00 waterwork system revenue bonds and
.;;:65,000.00 waterwork system tax bonds of and from the City of hennedale, Texas.
Councilr~zan Turner duly seconded the motion and upon vote taken the same was un-
animously passed.
3. r mot; nn was duly made by Councilman Harper that the office of City
T~Iarshal of and for the City of Tiennedale, Texas, be abolished and ten:~inated, said
abolution and terr:~in.atior_ of said office to be effective April 1, 1952. Council-
r^_an Evans duly seconded the motion and upon vote taken the said motion carried by
the foJlot,r1ng vote:

G.. ~ motion was duly made by Counci111an Harper that there be created ef-
fective irnrnediately the office of Chief of Police of the City of Kennedale, Texas,
said office to be filled by appointment to be made by the Police Con~~_ssioner of
the City of Kennedale, Te~:as. The said motion was duly seconded by Councilman Flake
and upon vote taken the same taas unanimously passed.
5. Upon motion duly made and seconded the meeting was adjourned at 10:00
