1. The meeting was duly called to order at B:i.T.'I. by the
l~7ayor. Upon roll call of the Council, Councilra^lan Davis, Foust,
Turpin, Bulin and '°layor '':ebb were present. Councilman yJinters was
absent.
2. Councilman Bu1in made a motion that the City Council of the
City of r~ennedale adopt ar_d approve a resolution petitioning the
State Legislature of the State of Texas to amend :article 793C-4,
Chapter f~, Title 12g of the Civil Statues of the State of Texas
pertaining to the creation of a Fresh ';Mater Supply District.
Councilman Turpin duly seconded the motion and uNOn vote taken
the same was unanimously gassed.
3. Councilman Bulin made a motion that the City of Y~ennedale
pay to the League of Texas l~lunicipalities the sump of `'27.b0 for
membership fee therei3~ for the year ending January 31, 1954.
Councilman Foust duly seconded the motion and upon vote taken the
same vas unanimously passed.
4. Councilman Foust made a motion that 21~ "ater meters be
purchased fromt the Fort '~~orth ell 'Machine Company for future
delivery to the City of t~ennedale as anal when needed. Councilman
Bulin duly seconded the motion and upon vote taken the same was
unanirn_ously passed.
5. Councilman roust ma8e a motion that Councilman Bulin be
elected I1~Iayor pro-tempo of the City of Kennedale. Councilman
Da~~is duly seconded the motion and upon vote taken, same was
unanimously passed.
6. Iulayor TNebb submitted his request for resignation from the
office of ~"~ayor of the City of l~ennedale. Councilman Davis mUde a
motion that ~!~ayor ~'~ebb's resignation from the office of Mayor of
the city of ~ennedale be accepted, effective immediately.

Councilman Turpin duly seconded the motion and upon vote taken
tYle same was unanimously passed.
7. Councilman Davis r~_ade a motion that 13.T. ~.~~'ebb be eml~loy-
ed as ,eater. Sutnerintendent for the City of t~ennedale at a salary
of X50.00 per week. Councilman Turpin duly seconded the motion and
upon vote taken same was unanimously passed.
g. Councilman Turpin made amotion that the City of Kenriedale
furnish gasoline to B.T. ti~~ebb to b e used in his truck in connec-
tion with his duties as ',`Dater ''urperintendent of the City of
Kennedale in amounts~as needed and used by Nr. Webb not to exceed
five. gallons per week.
Upon r::otion duly r.~~ade and seconded and carried the rrle~ting
