The meeting was called to order by the Mayor, V.A. Turpin and after a
ro~].1 call of council the fallotiaing members were present: Councilmen Bulin
and Cunningham. Councilmen Davis Foust and Boyd were absent.
The meeting was called for the purpose of opening, the sealed bids on the
pump for the new water well. Bob Nichols and Iiarold Johnson were present and
hlr. Nichols opened the bids. After a general d~.scussion regarding same lair.
Nichols asked that he be given time to study the bids more thoroughly and to
give his reccommendat_on at a later date. This was agreed.
The Councilmen who were present agreed to hire T~Ir. C.L. Turner to paint
the City Hall. They also discussed insurance for the City employees and
it was agreed to take this matter up on the regular meeting night.
The meeting adjourned at 9:PM
