JANUARY 5, 1961
The meeting was called to ormter by Mayor pro-tem Bulin: After a r oll ~a.ll
of the Council the following members were found to be present. Councilmen
Hammack, Harper, and kadakovich. Councilman Ratliff and Mayor ~'hildres were
absent.
Police Chief Halverson asked the Council to put on a third shift in the
police department with hours from midnight to 7AM on a trial basis for thirty
days. ...The agreed to give the matter serious consideration and make their
decision at the next meeting.
Councilman Radakovich made a motion to have the City attorney intercede

in the delinquent tax suit entered by the County against W.F. Cooper. Councilman
Hammack seconded the motion and upon vote taken the same was passed unanimously.
Councilman Hammack made a motion to adopt Ordinance # bl-1 relative
to a sewer rate ordinance. Councilman Radakovich seconded the motion and upon
vote taken the same was passed unanimously.
Councilman Hammack made a motion to adopt Ordinance # 61-2 regulating
permits
connections to the sewer system, requiring therefor and d efining qualifications
of persons to do such work. Councilman Harper seconded the motion and upon
vote taken the same was passed unanimously.
Motion was made by Councilman Harper and seconded by Hammack and passed
unanimously that publication notice of adoption of Ordinance # 61-2 be,~ given
by publishing the Ca~+tion and summary of the Ordinance only rather that in
its entirety.
On motion duly made Mr. ~d.W. Tyson was appointed plumbing inspector to
worj under the supervision of the water superintendent.
