10.29.1964 CC Minutes323 SPBCIAL MBBTING OF ?HB KBNN~ALB CITY COUNCIL OCTOSBR 29, 1964 The meeting assembled at Ss20 PM,-with the following Councilmen present; Flake, Hatton, Vick and Winters. Councilman Helm was absent. Mayor Webb presided. Minutes from the previous meeting were read and approved. 1. Ordinance #64-10 was adopted: setting tax rate at $1.00 per $100.00 property evaluation. Councilman Flake made the motion and Councilman Winters seconded. This sotion carried. 2. Mr. Marshall stated that a public hearing was called for the purpose of the annexation of the George C. Jackson property.. With Mr. and MYs. Jackson appearing for and nobody against; Kennedale (~rdit~~nc~.., #64-11 for annexing such a tract was adopted. Council- man Flake made the motion and ass seconded by Mr. Vick. Motion carried without opposition. 3. Kurt A. Meer was present to discuss furnishing his property with water until such time that his property is annexed. Council- man Winters made the motion to cross the road and furnish him with water temporarily, at a price. Councilman Hatton seconded. The motion carried.
