REGUALR MEETING OF TI-~ KENNEDALE CITY COTJNCIL

The meeting was opened with a prayer led by Councilman Flake. The Following
members were fOUIld to be present: Councilmen Flake, GJinters, Helm, Hatton
and Vick. No members were absent.
bir. Usleton, a minister from the Assembly of God Church asked the Council
to allow him to move a trailor house and place it in the rear of the Church
building, he was advised to go ahead if he placed the trailor on a
permanent foundation.
A motion cvas made by Councilman Winters to instruct Chief Karl Halverson to
use Kenneth Pearce on all towing jobs whenever there was a need for towing.
Councilman Vick seconded the motion. Motion carried.
Mr. L. C, fJyatt was present and requested some repair wor?< be done on the
street in the Gay Daughters addition. He was advised the matter would be
looked into and he would get assistance if anything could be done.
Councilman Helm r;Iade a motion to adopt Ordinance #6-~-8 relative to the
closing of Kenneday St. blks 30-31 and Village St. Councilman Vic:
seconded the Iaotion. Ntotion carried on the condition the petition be
signed by property owners. Councilman fainters abstrained from voting.
,1 motion ivas made by Co~.tncilman Flake to adopt 6~-9 relative to the
closing of Sulphur St Between 86-87.
A Motion was made by Councilman Vic'< to accept the bid of Charles Shytles
for the 4 inch pipe for sale by the city.
!1 Motion was made and carried to sell the radio in the truc'.< of Mayor ebb
