3~9" SPECIAL CALLED MEETING OF THS KENNEDALE CITY COUNCIL MAY 27, 1965 Mayor Webb called the meeting to arder at 8s05 PM. The following members were present- Evelyn Blissard, LeQta Flake, E. A. Gilmore, and John J. Eiondi, Jr. -1 Councilman H. L. Hatton made the motion to adopt Ordinance #65.4 relative'to the issuance of a $29.,000.00 Water and Sewage Revenue Eond, and to accept the proposal of Moss & McMahon, Inc. to pur- chase the bond. C©uncilman Flake made the second and the second and the motion carried unanimously. 2. E. A. Gilmore made the motion to adopt Ordinance #65-5 proposing to have Moss & McMahon purchase bonds for tpe General Obligations Tax Eond in the am©unt of $15,000.00 Evelyn l~lissard made the secw~.~ ond. The motion carried unanimously.- 3. A general. discussion was held relative to C. W. Hendricks Sau- sage House being sold to Walter Klein. He asked for the Council's approval. The decision was made to write a letter approving the transaction as long as the business was operated in the manner it was by Mr. Hendricks, 4~-The City Attorney was instructed to prepare an Ordinance to b e boted on at the next regu~~a meeting, permitting 20 hp motors in~the light industrial district in lieu of the 10 hp now used. 5.
