1. :sir. Cantrell car,~e before the couzrcil asking permission to move a mobil home
on Rolardz Larze, blr. liiondi made motion to grant him permission, :sir. Ii?ttan 2nd

2. Mr. Webb presented a plat didication, a proposed change of intersection of
Dick Price ?load and 287, asking the City to dedicate a strip of the rigtrt of way
to Cottrell Co. for improving of said intersection. }latton made motion to
accept the dodic<.ttion, Don Lyon 2nd motion, znotior-z carriod unaraiously.
3. Mr. Neighbors, reprn_senting D'Irs. Pelligrini, wanted to abond the street that
was dedicated in 1960. :le was advised he would haves to nave a 20 ft,. easement.
He wanted time to think about it and was put on the Agenda for August 10, Don
Lyon suggested to r_heck back and determine =.+r"Tat agreerTent was made in 1960.
4. h}rs. Strahan recuns*o~' holi:. in regards to the drainage problem, she would
contact the Couz-,ty and have bar ditch dug if the City would taT:e care of the dirt.

6. Mayor Horton appointed Jr~hr°i J. ~sinr'?i, Jr. on the Tax Committee.
7. Ke:~zneth Pearce carne before the Council in regard to t'rze wrecker insurance,
stating Jimmy Rogers didn't ixave prt~per insuranc? o:, his vehicles.
8. 1`}r. :~~ars'ra1.1 rA.,r? totter frog, the Texas Water Polution future plans.
9. Chief iviitchell explained to the Council that Forrest i-iill and Ev~rrna,: were
in the process of establishing a dog pound in Forrest Hill, thought Kennedale
should join them in this project. lie W=ould advises the Council when this project
is agreecj on. Since hlr. Long wasn't catching ar<y more dogs, said he could get
Jim Smith to handle the dog situation temprorary at $<?.~30 per dog. Pitchell
asked for a raise for the police dept. The Council advised they wool-d meet
at a later date and disr_uss the salaries. Mitchell asked permission for the
Police dept. tc~ host a Rc~d Crass training school, stating the only expense
svou]d be the book at .75,r and coffee and donuts. Ilatton made motion to grant

10. The Council asked ~Ir. Dlarshall to dr8!N up an ordinance, giving the Auxillary
"olice authority as Policemen. }Iattctin made motion to have ordinance drawn up,
Don Lyen 2nd motion, zrotion carried unazniously.
11. Mayor }iorton advised them Pete was quitting. Don Lyon made rr,otion to appoint

Don Lyon 2nd motion, motion carried unamiously.
Hatton made motion to adjourn, Bobby Vaughan 2nd motion, meeting
adjourned at 11:40 P. M.
