Mayor Martin assembled the meeting at 7:30 P, M, Council members present were Mrs, Inez
Keathley, Johr. J. Biondi Jr, Marshal Tyson, Bill Bishop and B, J. Watson.
The minutes from the previous meeting were read and after correction concerning Bob
Samuels not replacing the windshield on Mr., Jordons car, the minutes were approved.
Mayor Martin asked each candiates to sit at the table and introduce themselves.
Mayor Martin then announced a serious problem had come up, stat that Mr, Morris of the
Texas Water Control and Environment Board had called him, wanting to know what the City
wa.s going to do about the sewer plant, septice tanks and sewer system, demanding; we take
immediate action. to correct the situation. A general discussion followed by the
Mayor, City Council and. Cand.iates, From this discussion Mr. 'da±son made motion to
contact Freese, Nichols ~ Endres of the possibility of connecting with the City of
Ar.7~.nr~+.en, sewer system, 2nd by Mrs, .Kea. +.h ley, mo+.,?on ca,rri.ed t~nani.mouslsr,

having voted in the election,
Mr. Watson made motion to accept the second draft, 2nd by Mr. Keathley, Mr. Biondi
and Mr. Tyson voted aVains±, 3 for 2 against, motion carri_ed.. Mr., Martin said he would
not and would not sign this Ordinance,
The City Secretary asked permission to purchase a typewriter for the 6Jater dept., in the
amo~.~nt of $293.00. Mr, Watson made motion to purchase the typewriter, 2nd by Mr, Biondi
motion carried unanio~isly,
