REGULAR MEETING OF THE KENNEDALE CITY COUNCIL
October 11, 1973
Mayor Childres assembled the meeting at 7:35 P.M. Bro. King gave the
invocation. Roll was called. Council members present were George
Lowery, Steve Radakovich, Mayor Childres, Stanley Jernigan, Bill Bishop
and Lloyd Blanscet. The minutes of the previous meeting were read and
approved as read. The council and the mayor agreed not to participate
in the Tarrant County Planning Program, and that a letter would be written
to them advising them of this decision.
The Council discussed the water line problem in the Crestdale addition.
After lengthy discussion, Mayor Childres maintained a motion to replace
the 3" galvanized pipe with a 6" PVC Fipe from Paula Lane down Arthur
Drive to Bowman Springs Road, at a cost of $1643.90. Mr. Bishop made
the motion, seconded by Mr. Jernigan. The motion carried unanimously.
Mr. Mathis gave report on the requested re-zoning of the Farrington
property from single Family to Multi Family, and to be annexed to City.
He also discussed the financial statement with the council. He pre-
sented the personal property tax roll for the councils approval. The
council approved it as presented.
Mae Pennington asked how she could go about getting a road cut at the
back of their property. The Mayor advised her he would check on it
and let her know.
Mayor maintained motion to adjourn. Mr. Lowery made the motion seconded
by Mr. Blanscet. Meeting adjourned at 8:55 P. M.
