11.08.1979 CC MinutesPage 903 PUBLIC HEARING ON 6TH YEAR COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT PROJECT KENNEDALE CITY COUNCIL November 8, 1979 7:30 P.M. Mayor Steve Radakovich assembled the meeting at 7:30 P.M. Clara Sanderson gave the invocation. Council members present were Mayor Steve Radakovich, Mayor Pro-Tem Clara Sanderson, George Lowery, Wayne Winters, Charles Kuykendall and Dwight Miller. Staff present were Mel Justice, Clyde Marshall and Tyne Reflogal. Item No. 1 MAYOR TO READ SUMMARY STATEMENT FOR TARRANT COUNTY HOUSING AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT CITIZEN PARTICIPATION. Mayor Radakovich read the required statement see attached: Item No. 3 CITIZENS TO PRESENT SUGGESTED PROJECTS, COMP- LAINTS AND COMMENTS. Mel Justice read seven Citizen Input Forms which had been sent to the City Secretary's Office, see attached: There were no citizens present who wished to speak. Item No. 2 COUNCIL TO PRESENT SUGGESTED PROJECTS. Mayor read a list of suggestions prepared by the staff. After a lengthy discussion it was the consensus of the council that the Project list should be as follows: A. Water valves at various places (water) B. Crestview to Kennedale Sublett 12" main (water) C. Harrison from Little Road to Clint 6" main (water) D. Shady Oaks from Little Road to Butterfly Lane 6" main (water) E. Harrison from Little Road to Clint (street) F. Shady Oaks from Little Road to Butterfly (street) G. Crestview from 287 to Clover Lane (street) H. Park Improvements (Picnic areas and road and parking lot) Clara Sanderson made a motion to have Mel Justice prepare the final Project Proposal based on the above list, seconded by George Lowery.
