09/10/1981, Public Hearing Minutes (2)Page 1038 PUBLIC HEARING KENNEDALE CITY COUNCIL September 10, 1981 Mayor Steve Radakovich assembled the meeting at 7:30 p.m. Members present were Mayor Steve Radakovich, Mayor Pro-Tem Wayne Winters, Councilmembers Clara Sanderson, Sonny Elrod, Dorothy Cooper and Dwight Miller. Staff present were Mel Justice, Clyde Marshall and Tyne Reflogal. Mayor Radakovich stated the purpose of the Hearing was to receive Citizen input concerning the 8th year Community Development Program. The Citizens were requested to put their comments in writing so they can be attached to the grant application. Mayor Radakovich read the tentative list of projects which reads as follows: a. Water line loop, 6" at south City Limits from Mansfield Cardinal to Hwy. 287. b. Water line, 10" on Mansfield Cardinal from Alma Ln. to Little School storage tank tee. c. Water line 6" from New Hope down Broadway and Hwy. 287. d. Water line, 6" from Woodlea to Anadite on Hwy. 287. e. Water line, 6" down Bowman Springs from Hwy. 287 to Arthur. f. Water valves on Broadway, Main, South Hwy. 287 and Little School. g. Water line, 6", valves and connections on Bowman Springs from Arthur to curve. h. Water lines, 6" on Briarwood from Averett to Shady Lane. i. Paving of 5th Street from New Hope to North Road. j. Water line 10" on Hwy. 287 and Mansfield Cardinal from Sublett to Nursing Home. k. Little School from Greenfield to edge of target area, 6" water line. 1. Sewer line 6" on Little School to edge of target area. m. Various Park improvements. Mayor Radakovich also read the attached Summary Statement For Public Hearings For Tarrant County Housing And Community Development Block Grant Program. Wayne Winters asked that a Fire Hall and doors for the ambulance shelter be added to the list of proposed projects. Raymond Morris suggested the most heavily traveled roads be resurfaced. Mr. Morris recommended New Hope Road, Dick Price Road, Bowman Springs Road and Mansfield Cardinal Road. Page 10 39 Sonny Elrod made a motion to adjourn, seconded by Dorothy Cooper.
