EXECUTIVE SESSION OF THE KENNEDALE CITY COUNCIL
January 5, 1880
Mayor Steve Radakovich assembled the meeting at 9:10 A.M.
Members present were Mayor Steve Radakovich, Mayor Pro-Tem
Clara Sanderson, Council members George Lowery, Wayne
Winters, Dwight Miller and Charles Kuykendall.
Staff present were Mel Justice and Tyne Reflogal.
After a lengthy discussion on all aspects of Cable T.V. the
Council instructed Mel Justice to call Tarrant Cable T.V.
Communications and ascertain if a representative could
be present at a council meeting on 12 January 1980, also
contact Sammons Company and ask if they are interested in
attending a council work session at a later date.
Mel Justice reported on the Miller law suit. After a short
discussion the council instructed Mel not to have the Miller
road fixed.
Mayor Radakovich informed the Council the traffic control
signs had been delivered and that the City crews would
install the signs. Council instructed Mel to get bids on a
new and a used auger.
Mel Justice asked Council for authorization to pay police
officers $5.00 per County Court appearance on appeal cases.
Council was in agreement to pay $5.00 per appearance.
Council instructed Mel to call a closed meeting on 12 January
1980 at 9:00 A.M. to discuss land litigation and/or personnel
matters.
George Lowery made a motion to adjourn, seconded by Charles
Kuykendall. Motion carried with non
