CALL TO ORDER Chairman Jeff Nevarez called the meeting to order at 7.:05 pm. II. ROLL CALL Present: Kenneth Michels, Gary Swan, Jeff Nevarez, Ann Beck Absent: Jeremy Johnston, Bobby Goff, Corey Hines, Joann Huckabee, David Green III. VISITOR/CITI2ENS FORUM IV. MINUTES APPROVAL Consider approval of minutes from February 3, 2021 regular meeting. Motion to: Approve February 3, 2021 minutes. Action: Approve Moved By: A. Beck Seconded: K. Michels Motion Passed: Unanimously V. REPORTS AND ANNOUNCEMENTS A. Facility Rental 1. Facility rentals are reopened except for the Senior Center which is closed for renovations. Ball fields have lights now so a canvas of charges will be run and proposal presented to the board in the future. J. Nevarez requested that L. Hoover get together with A. Beck to create the proposal before presenting it to the board. A. Beck stated Mansfield's fees are $15 for residents $20 for non-residents for day use. To rent the fields with lights there is an additional $25 for residents and $35 for non- residents. The city uses a web based software program called Skylogic to control the lights via the internet, L. Hoover stated that he would like to get more information about Skylogic. A. Beck stated she could send him the information. 2. J. Nevarez stated that the basketball hoop was missing in Rogers Farm Park. L. Hoover stated it was removed during the pandemic and he would get the guys to put it back up. J. Nevarez also mentioned the speaker tube was not working. L. Hoover stated it was probably plugged with debris. J. Nevarez asked if it could be cleared, L. Hoover stated he would check with Ron to see what they could do. B. Splash Pad opening May 1s` 1. Hours are Mon -Fri 8am-noon and 5pm -8pm, Sat & Sun 8am-8pm C. KidFish 1. Scheduled for May 15, 2021 9am-noon. J. Nevarez asked about Bark in Park. L. Hoover stated that it is tentatively rescheduled for October by Police and Animal Control. 2, J. Nevarez stated that he is planning on having Concert in the Park this year the 2od Saturday in October. Phil Wallace used to help with this so he asked if someone else on the board was interested in helping. VI. DECISION ITEMS A. Future meeting time 1. Motion to: Change meeting time from 7pm to opm.
