PUBLIC HEARING KENNEDALE CITY COUNCIL
FEBRUARY 10, 1983
Mayor Radakovich assembled the meeting at 7:05 p. m.
Members present were Mayor Steve Radakovich, Councilmembers
Doyle Riley, Allan Elrod and Dwight Miller.
Mayor Pro-Tem Wayne Winters was absent.
Staff present were Mel Justice and Tyne Reflogal. Clyde Mar-
shall joined the meeting at 7:25 p. m.
Mayor Radakovich stated the reason for the hearing was to re-
ceive citizen comments for or against a rezoning request con-
cerning portions of Tract 7, 8 and 9, J. M. Lilly Survey,
abstract 980 and Tract 8, T. F. Rogers Survey abstract 1363,
from Mrs. Ruth Arthur, et al, from "A" Single Family to
"A-1" Attached Housing, "C" Multi Family and "E" Commercial.
Subject property is located on the northwest corner of Sub-
lett and Little School Road.
Mr. Gary Cooper explained the "E" zoning would be on the cor-
ner bordered on the north with the "A-1" and on the west with
the "C" zoning.
There were several citizens who spoke in favor of the zoning
change, they were Gary Cooper, Rocky Curry, Jim Smith, Jerry
Kirkpatrick, Frank Bedford, Ronnie Riley, Paula Speed and
Don Sandley.
Those citizens speaking against the proposed zoning changes
were Raymond Morris, R. E. Flowers, Mrs. Inez Foster, Pat
Turner and Ken Pearce.
Dwight Miller made a motion to adjourn, seconded by Sonny
Elrod. Motion carried with none opposed.
Meeting adjourned at 8:45 p. m.
