Arlington Parks Pokemon Guide
Children and adults alike are flocking to Arlington parks in an attempt to catch'em all.Pokemon Go is an app where players visit
different physical locations to collect in-game items,Pokemon, and battle for control of virtual gyms.Arlington Parks and
Recreation has compiled a list of the best places to visit PokeStops to stock upon items or battle it out at various city parks.
1.River Legacy-Pack some water because you Gould spend quite awhile visiting the 12 PokeStops and 4 Gyms at River Legacy
Parks.PokeStops are spread acrpss the 1,031 acre park,so a bike or skateboard would definitely come in handy.Expect to find
many types of Pokemon on the trails that span the park and run next to the river. The PokeStops here are often lured by other
players to attract more Pokemon, especially on the weekends.
2.Veterans Park-Veterans Park is the perfect place to pick up some items on the way home or spend the afternoon catching
Pokemon. The 103 acre park has 16 PokeStops that are frequently lured by other players(even on weekdays)and has two Gyms.
Stops and Gyms are close together and can be resonably reached by foot.
3.Richard Greene Linear Park-View some spectacular art while stocking up on Pokebalis and other items. This park features
numerous sculptures along the walking path from various artists from around the country. If you're really into outdoor art, this
is the park for you.In fact, many of these sculptures are available for purchase.(Click here for purchasing information).Richard
Greene has 11 PokeStops that are scattered across its 41 acres of land and is close to Globe Life Park,AT&T Stadium, and other
prime Pokemon locations.
4.Crystal Canyon Natural Area-You're sure to find rock and grass Pokemon types at the Crystal Canyon Natural Area.A lesser
known hunting ground to the average Pokemon Go player, this area is home to five pokestops and one gym,
S.Vandergriff Park-Another great location to stop by and stock upl Vandergriff park offers 84 acres of pure Pokemon bliss. The
park features 8 PokeStops and 3 Gyms all within walking distance from one another.

B I ue-green algae are a1 so cal I ed cyanobacteri a because they are bi of ogi cal I y si m i I ar to bacteria in
many ways. As single cel Is, I arge colonies and f i I aments, blue-green algae grow in a wide variety
of conditions and can become dominant in nutrient-rich water bodies. One characteristic of these
cyanobacteri a is their abi I i ty to form blooms so thick it appears that blue-green pad nt covers the
surface of the water.
Two forms found in Texas are known to produce substances which cause taste and odor
problems in water supplies. I n some cases, blue-green algae, particularly Anabaena and
Microcystis(both found i n Texas), can produce toxi ns that are poi sonous to fish and w I dl i f e that
dri nk water contami nated with the toxi ns. Fi sh ki I I s have occurred i n private stock ponds as a
result of bl ue-green algal blooms and there have been a feN reports of I ivestock dyi ng from
drinking water contaminated with blue-green toxins. I n addition to toxicity to fish and wildlife,
there are documented cases of bl ue-green al gad toxi ns harm ng humans i n other parts of the
world through the consumption of poorly treated waters. Awareness is grow ng of the need to
ensure bl ue-green al gad toxi ns do not pass through water treatment pl ants without bei ng
adequately removed.
