Consideration of Overlay Zoning adjacent to Little School Road.
Approximately 39 persons were in attendence for these public hearings.
The discussion regarding this public hearing was very lengthy with the following
persons testifying against tl-~e consideration of an overlay zoning district.

Graciano R4oniz spoke in regards to a decision that was ~•~ell tY~ought and took
into consideration those of the Planning and 7.oning Commission. previous public
hearings. He wanted to show support for both the Planning a.r,d Zoning Commission
as well as Council.
With no other discussion, Council proceeded on to Public Hearing 10. 2.

Request for Special Exception to the City Code to allow Construction of
Mini-Warehouses in "F" Commercial Zone on Little School Road.
Mr. David Trammell of Public Storage Inc. made a presentation to Council
on the proposed project as submitted by his firm.
The first person to speak was Gary Cooper.. Fie was not against the project as
long as it was controlled using the appropriate building construction and buffer
zones.

Mr. Leland Gjetley-property owner- spoke in favor of this exception due to the
size and shape of this land parcel.
With no other comments, Council moved on to Public Hearing No. 3.
Public Hearing No. 3-
Request for Variance to the City Code to allow a Recreational Vehicle
(RV) and Boat Sales and Outside Storage in "F" Commercial Zoning on Little
School Road.
Mr. Don Hansen made a presentation regarding his proposed project. He wished
to construct his project under the variance and when either property values
changed or time expired, he wished to convert his project into a shopping
plaza.

Council adjourned the public hearings on motion by Wayne Winters and
