At this time, any person with business before the Keep Kennedale Beautiful
Commission may speak to the Commission. All comments must be directed towards
the Chair, rather than individual commissioners or staff. All speakers must limit their
comments to subject matter relating to the commission. No formal action can be taken
on these items.

A. Discuss and consider action for the wild flower area at Sonora Park
B. Discuss and approve action necessary for any of the following events:
1 . San Jacinto Parade - April 17, 2015 at 6:30 p.m.
2. Butterfly Demonstration Garden - March 28, 2015
3. Bird Sanctuary Clean-up - May 9, 2015 at 10:00 a.m.
C. Consider making a nomination for the KTB Youth and Educator Award
D. Discuss and consider approval of Adopt-a-Spot request

In compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, the City of Kennedale will provide for reasonable
accommodations for persons attending City Council meetings. This building is wheelchair accessible, and

A SDnora Park Wildflower Area—Methodist Church Youth Group will plant the flowers,
Michael will get the ground prepped for planting and Lauriewill talkto Madora Patliff
on a date for the Youth Group to plant.
B. Butterfly Garden Work Day- March 28th .The High School Outdoor Cub will bejoining us
and we will start at Noon.
O San Jacinto Parade/Brickworks Festival April 171h. Darlene and Pam discussed decorating
Darlene'sATVto represent KKBin the Parade, KKBwill not have abooth but will hang
the KKB Banner by the Photo Op area and KKBwill assist in dean up on the final day of
the festival.
D. Bird Sanctuary Clean Up Day May 91h. Elart at 10:00 a.m. KKBwill provide lunch for
volunteers. Kelly will contact JamesAArthurto see if they would like tojoin us, Michael
will contact Mr.Wilcoxwith the Outdoor Cub and Laurie will contact the Boy Scouts.
M. Reports/Announcements—Keep Texas Beautiful Conference June 15- 171h in R.Worth at
the Omni Hotel, if anyone is interested in attending need to let Kelly know.

At the last meeting, the Board determined to take the leftover seed bombsand create awild flower
area at Senora Park. This item will provide an opportunity for the board to discuss the details
necessary for creating this area in the Park.
The Parks and Pecreation Board has already discussed and approved an area to be designated for the
planting.
