Adjournment Date: May 5, 2010 Agenda Item No: B -1 Subject: Staff presentation of linear park 309 North Road Originated by: Celeste Brown, Park Board Secretary Summary: The centerpiece of the TownCenter will be the 1886 Railroad Section House Currently located at 309 North Road. Once relocated in the TownCenter, staff suggests that the property be developed into a linear park that is consistent with the TownCenter railroad concept. Several ideas that were mentioned among staff were benches, tables, small railroad themed playground, a fence along the railroad tracks, and parking. In this preliminary discussion city staff wishes to discuss these and any other amenities to develop this park.
