of candidates.

I'er, Fearce stated that Harries Graphics C;orporata.on is dumping ar,
unknown substance in the bar ditch and racks on the hill.
Mark Wright pointed out that Sammon's Cable T.V. is continuously
raising their prices. Ted Rowe and Don driver said the City
could not regulate the increases.

equipment:

This includes the trade-in difference for two 1~~~2 motorcycles

David Geeslin stated that the equipment cost includes
installation.
Manor Hadakovich informed Council that the city received a
windfall of appraximately 51~0,t"Dmta in sales tax in the month of
June. This would be a gaud time to catcl~i up un capital
improvements for the Police Department. It would also save tax
payers money. He suggested investing the money in a C.G. to
earn interest and finance the vehicles and equipment. He felt
that the city could save money by purchasing the vehicles just
befare the new models come out.
Ted Howe stated that the present vehicles have approximately
12rD, ~~rD miles on them. He thought the cars would last through

this year, c=ut they are not Going to last until anuary wh~r_h
they would have to do ii we wai+~ed until October to purc'r,ave t'ri~
replacements.

Ted Rowe ~~tated that patrol vehicles should be replaced at
