ROLL CALL III. MINUTES APPROVAL A. Consider approval of minutes from June 4, 2014 regular meeting. IV. VISITOR/CITIZENS FORUM At this time, any person with business before the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board may speak to the Board. All comments must be directed towards the Chair, rather than individual board members or staff. All speakers must limit their comments to subject matter relating to the board. ADJOURNMENT In compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, the City of Kennedale will provide for reasonable accommodations for persons attending City Council meetings. This building is wheelchair accessible, and parking spaces for disabled citizens are available. Requests for sign interpreter services must be made forty-eight (48) hours prior to the meetings. CALL TO ORDER Co-Chair Michael Chandler called the meeting to order at 7:00pm II. ROLL CALL Present: Stephen Brim, Jill Turner, Michael Chandler, Alan Pederson, Glenn Shark Absent: David Deaver, Donna Gerron III. MINUTES APPROVAL A.Consider approval of minutes from May 7, 2014 regular meeting. Motion to: Approve May 7, 2014 minutes Action: Approve. Moved By: ,Stephen Brim Seconded: Alan Pederson Motion Passed Unanimously IV. VISITOR/CITIZENS FORUM V. REGULAR ITEMS A.Kennedale Youth Association contract signed. Park Board Members asked that City staff find out if the Football fees have been paid. VI. REPORTS/ANNOUNCEMENTS 1.Citywide Spring Clean-Up will be held this Saturday June 7, 2014. City Shred in October most likely. 2.Next Week Cub Scouts will be at Sonora Park having their annual weeklong camp out. 3.Flyers next year will most likely be eliminated to better get the word out about KidFish and Bark In The Park had a great turn out. We will be getting signage to advertise together for both events. 4.Link Street progressing 5.Vineyards going on, City staff has yet to get an answer about them paying per lot. 6.Alan Pederson inquiring about Texas Parks & Wildlife results from their study, City Staff will get with them to get results 7.Glenn Greenwood Code Compliance has retired, now Charles Comeaux has taken over. James Cowey has retired also, Sandra Johnson has taken over the City Inspector position 8.Budget kickoff has started, budget is very tight this year. VII.
