The council mew in s~~ecial session with the follow-
ing present:

The following By-laws were voted on to become a
x~art of the charter of the Kennedale Township:
1. Be it resolved in accordance with proclamation
of Clarence 0. Kraft, Judge of County Court of Tarrant County,
Texas, that the officers of Kennedale, Tarrant County, Texas
an incorporated to~~rn shall be: mayor, one,(1) city marshal
and five (5) aldermen, these officers to serve a term of
two (2) ,years.
2. Aldermen to he elected from each ~,.aard. There
being four wards in the town of Kennedale and one at large.
The to~~rn shall be divided into four (4) ~~rards, the same
shall consist of the bounds as herein set forth, T.~)ard -
No. 1 Beginning at the intersection of Highway 2~7 anal
western boundary of Kennedale Thence North to the Northwest
corner of the Kennedale School District, Thence east to the
intersection of the northern boundary of Kennedale and the

3. Election date shall be the same as all city elections
the same being `;he first Tuesday in Aoril.
4. Franchises shall be given to Privately owned or

incorporated Utility Corrr~anies at the option of the board
of Aldermen.
5. That ~,aater and Sanitation ordinanc~:s be established
for the city to be approved with Bldg. Permit.
6. That all new Bldgs. have Bldg. Permits before
construction. Fee for Business Bldg. to be $5.00, Residence
w3.00 and Farm Property other than. Residence 42.00.
7. That the Traffic Ordinances as r~ecorrrended by the
League of Texas Municipalities be established.
~3. There shall be established a volunteer fire Jept.
with an appointed Fire Marshal.
9. The City Rate of Taxation sha d be Twenty-Five
Cents (25~) Per One Hundred Dollars 0100.00) Valuation.
10. That all new F1.ectrical wiring for bldgs. be
approved by city inspector.
11. The City shall have the aut~~ority to approve
all new streets and to open any streets which have been
forr:,,erly disignated as such.
12. An operation tax shall be levied on all places
of business and peddlers.
