IMPACT FEE COMMITTEE
OCTOBER 20, 1994

hairman Cray called the Impact Fac Committee meeting to order at 7:19 p.m.
Committee Members present: Charles Cray, Chuck Shytles, Janna Brimer, David
Conroy and George Harrison. Cliff Hallmark, Wayne Winters, Glynn Cavasos
and Bill Cromer were not in attendance. Alternate Ralph Warner became as ac-
tive member in Bill Cromer's absence.
City Staff present:
Ted Rowe, City Administrator
Linda Royster, Director of Water billing
Joey Highfill, Director of Water Operations
Michael Box, Director of Development and Code Enforcement
Mort Wetterling, Permits /Code Enforcement Department
Linda Royster advised the Committee that an "Impact Fee Update" handout had
been made a part of their packet, which addresses fees collected by year
and by addition /development as well as projected fees to be collected.after
which, questions were solicited.
Joey Highfill briefed the Committee on the status of both storage and ele-
vated water supplies which he rated as being adequate for the present time
however "peak time usage" (fire and summer) is a concern. The City Adminis-

considered to be a viable /cost effective option. The Committee agreed that
the City Council should be advised of the City's upcoming need for addition-
al water and Janna Brimer made a motion to draft a written notification to
Council on that subject. Ralph Warner seconded the motion and all members
voted in favor.
