The Commission informed Mr. Reagan that Kennedale cannot service the property with city water, lot sizes are the bare minimum allowed by city code, the density is contrary to what the city has been looking for, no cul -de -sacs indicated, Kennedale is looking for a commercial tone with a tax base, and this plan will not benefit the city. The property is being considered for a commercial land use with some types of retail businesses. Mr. Reagan plans to build conventional homes, not tract homes, with 1,800 to 2,000 square feet with rear entry garages, highly landscaped, costing approximately $100,000. Motion was made by Joe Moniz, to deny the request due to the minimum lot sizes, dead end streets and no planned commercial property adjacent to Little School Road. Joe Moniz withdrew the motion.
