Bill Cromer, Chairman called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m.
Members present:. Glynn Cavasos, Bill Reynolds, Walter
Billingsley, Bill Cromer, Mike Smith, Mike McCarty and Danny
Taylor.
Staff present: Mel Justice and Mary Brooks.
I. Building Permits
a. Larry Amburgey - Harris Graphics Corporation requested
a building permit to finish a building started in January
1981 on Lot 1, Block 2, Harris Corporation Addition.
Motion was made by Walter Billingsley, seconded by Bill Reynolds,
to issue the building permit. Motion carried with none opposed.
b. George Crane requested two building permits for two
quadraplexes on Lots 37 and 38, Block 1, Woodlands Addition.
Motion was made by Mike Smith, seconded by Glenn Cavasos, to
issue the two building permits on Lots 37 and 38, Block 1,
Woodland Addition. Motion carried with none opposed.
II. Subdivision
a. Dan Boutwell presented a Preliminary Plat of Windsor.
Hill Estates, the portion platted into lots is a 37.7 acre
site annexed into Kennedale at the July 14, 1983 City Council
meeting.
After an in -depth discussion, motion was made by Bill Reynolds,
seconded by Walter Billingsley to accept the Preliminary Plat
of Windsor Hill Estates with the stipulation on further study
of adequate water /sewer supply, drainage, traffic ingress /egress,
lot sizes to 8,750 square feet and screening on the east side
of the property. Information to be furnished on the final
plat. Motion carried with none opposed.
III. Variance Requests
a. Green Builders requested a variance on parking in the
Woodlands Addition, zoned A -1 Single Family Attached Housing.
Motion was made by Danny Taylor, seconded by Mike Smith, to
forward a recommendation to Council to amend Ordinance 13 -27
on the A -1 Single Family Attached Housing. Motion carried with
none opposed.
Motion was made by Walter Billingsley, seconded by Glenn
Cavasos, to grant a variance for parking outside the building
line on A -1 Attached Housing only until new ordinance is
issued. Motion carried with none opposed.

II. Subdivision
b. Gary Cooper presented a Preliminary Plat of Shady
Creek Addition to be located off Kennedale Sublett Road.
Motion was made by Danny Taylor, seconded by Mike Smith,
to approve the Preliminary Plat on the Shady Creek Addition.
Motion carried with none opposed.
There being no further business, motion was made by Glenn
Cavasos, seconded by Bill Reynolds, that the meeting adjourn.
Motion carried with none opposed.
