Regular Meeting of Planning & Zoning Board
July 16,1981
Mr. Raymond Morris, Chairman called the meeting to order
at 7:30 P. M. Members present were Mr. Flowers, Mr,
Billingsley, Mr. Cromer, Mr. Brown. Staff in attendance:
Mel Justice, Jackie Baker.
I. Building Permits
a. Mr. Archie Fountain - 361 Valley Lane. Mr. Fountain
has requested a building permit for the erection of a steel
building located at the above address. This area is Zoned
"G" Industrial and the proposed building is in accordance
with the present zoning. No sewer is available in this
area, therefore Mr. Fountain will have a septic tank. The
perculation test were finalized by the Tarrant County Health
Department on July 15, 1981, This'building will not affect
any of the neighbors.. Motion made by Mr. Flowers, seconded
by Mr. Cromer to grant, the building permit in the condition
that Mr. Fountain meets the Tarrant County Health Depart -
ment's specifications. Motion carried with none opposed.
II. Subdivision
a. D. T. Lyon - 1228 E. Sublett.Rd. Mr. Lyon has re-
quested for the Board's consideration on a proposed Murray
Hill Estate Subdivision. Mr. Lyon has considered concreting
the street. On one of the lots of the subdivision Mr. Lyon
will build a house. Size of the house would be approximately
between 1250 sq. ft. to 1100 sq. ft. It would be 70%
masonry. Motion made by Mr. Brown, seconded by Mr. Cromer
that this request be granted. Motion carried with none op-
posed.
III. Replatting
a. Harris Corporation - 501 S, Dick Price. Rd. Harris
Corporation has resurveyed all of the properties that entity
owns in the 500 block of S. Dick Price Rd. Harris Corpora-
tion has submitted a plat plan to the City for approval of
the replatting and annexing of 15.89 acres of their property,
the portion now outside the City Limits, into the City.
Motion made by Mr. Flowers, seconded by Mr. Billingsley that
Mr. Justice submit a letter to the City Council fo.r acceptance
and approval of the annexation and replatting of the listed
property.

IV. Miscellaneous
a. Mr. Larry Brown has requested that the City
pave Butterfly Lane and run water and sewer lines for
him. Butterfly Lane is a dedicated but unopened and
unimproved street. The Board explained to Mr. Brown
that that request was the responsibility of the de-
veloper and not the City's. Request was denied by
the Board.
V. Board Members
a. Members are still in the process of getting an
ordinance written up on modular homes.
TV. There being no further business, motion was made by
Mr. Flowers, seconded by Mr. Brown that the meeting ad-
journ. Meeting adjourned at 9:20 P. M.
