EXECUTIVE SESSION The Planning and Zoning Commission will meet in closed session pursuant to Section 551.071 of the Texas Government Code for consultation with the City Attorney pertaining to any matter in which the duty of the City Attorney under the Texas Disciplinary Rules of Professional Conduct may conflict with the Open Meetings Act, including discussion of any item posted on the agenda and legal issues regarding amortization of nonconforming uses, litigation, settlement offers, and/or claims. B. RECONVENE INTO CHAMBERS Reconvene into chambers for regular session and consider action, if any, on items discussed in Executive Session. C. VISITORS/CITIZENS FORUM At this time, any person with business before the Planning and Zoning Commission not scheduled on the Agenda may speak to the Commission, provided that a “Speaker’s Request Form” has been completed and submitted to the Planning and Zoning Commission Secretary prior to the start of the meeting. All comments must be directed towards the Chairman, rather than individual P & Z members of staff. All speakers must limit their comments to the subject matter as listed on the “Speaker’s Request Form.” No formal action can be taken on these items. D. REGULAR ITEMS 1) Approval of minutes: regular meeting dated April 21, 2005. 2) Reconsideration of Case #PZ 05-02 to consider approval of a request for rezoning of Abstract 74, Tract 2B of the Thomas Beedy Survey in the City of Kennedale, Tarrant County, Texas. The property is located at 1075 N. Little School Road. The zoning at the present time is “R-2” (Single Family Residential) and is proposed to rezone to “PD” (Planned Development), as requested by Jeffery Herron. 3) Reconsideration of Case #PZ 05-03 to consider approval of a Preliminary Plat of Windsor Oaks legal description being Abstract 74, Tract 2B of the Thomas Beedy Survey in the City of Kennedale, Tarrant County, Texas. This sub-division will have 32 lots. The property is located at 1075 N Little School Road as requested by Jeff Herron. 4) Case #PZ 05-12 to consider approval of a Final Plat of Lot 1, Block A of the Jr. High Addition being 33.3393 acres situated in the Ephraim R. Mingus Survey, Abstract 1075, Kennedale, Texas, Tarrant County. The address is 930 Bowman Springs as request by Kennedale Independent School District. 5) Case #PZ 05-13 to consider approval of a request for rezoning of Tract 2 of J M Lilly Survey, Abstract 980 and Tract 3 of the J M Lilly Survey, Abstract 985, in the City of Kennedale, Texas, Tarrant County. The address is 925 E. Mansfield Cardinal Road. The zoning at the present time is “AG” (Agricultural) and is proposed to rezone to “R-3” (Single Family Residential), as requested by Jeff Herron. G.
