12.16.2004 PZ AgendaAGENDA PLANNING & ZONING COMMISSION REGULAR MEETING – DECEMBER 16, 2004 KENNEDALE MUNICIPAL BUIL DING – 405 MUNICIPAL DR. COUNCIL CHAMBERS 7:00 PM CALL TO ORDER ROLL CALL A. EXECUTIVE SESSION The Planning and Zoning Commission will meet in closed session pursuant to Section 551.071 of the Texas Government Code for consultation with the City Attorney pertaining to any matter in which the duty of the City Attorney under the Texas Disciplinary Rules of Professional Conduct may conflict with the Open Meetings Act, including discussion of any item posted on the agenda and legal issues regarding amortization of nonconforming uses, litigation, settlement offers, and/or claims. B. RECONVENE INTO CHAMBERS Reconvene into chambers for regular session and consider action, if any, on items discussed in Executive Session. C. VISITORS/CITIZENS FORUM At this time, any person with business before the Planning and Zoning Commission not scheduled on the Agenda may speak to the Commission, provided that a “Speaker’s Request Form” has been completed and submitted to the Planning and Zoning Commission Secretary prior to the start of the meeting. All comments must be directed towards the Chairman, rather than individual P & Z members of staff. All speakers must limit their comments to the subject matter as listed on the “Speaker’s Request Form.” No formal action can be taken on these items. E. REGULAR ITEMS 1) Approval of minutes: regular meeting dated October 21, 2004. PAGE 3 2) To consider approval of a Preliminary Plat of the Sub-division to be known as Beacon Hill. Legal description is 35.4 Acres out of the B. Joplin Survey, Abstract 880 & the F. Wood Survey, Abstract 1628 of Kennedale, Texas, Tarrant County. Sub-division is to be 97 lots as requested by Sierra Developers. PAGE 6 3) To consider approval of a Preliminary Plat of Delaney Annex Addition for Delaney Primary. Legal description will be Lot 1, Block A of Delaney Annex Addition, being 12.12 Acres situated in the first, second, and a portion of the third tracts of the C. Rose Survey, Abstract 1285 of Kennedale, Texas, Tarrant County, as requested by Kennedale Independent School District. PAGE 10 4) To consider approval of a Preliminary Plat of James A. Arthur Addition for Arthur Elementary. Legal description is Lot 1, Block A of James A. Arthur Addition being Lot 7 thru 12, Block K of the Crestdale Addition, a 4.46 Acre Tract of the ER Mingus Survey, Abstract 1075, and 1.23 Acre Tract situated in both of the ER Mingus Survey, Abstract 1075 and the C.
