A. EXECUTIVE SESSION
The Planning and Zoning Commission will meet in closed session pursuant to Section 551.071 of the
Texas Government Code for consultation with the City Attorney pertaining to any matter in which the
duty of the City Attorney under the Texas Disciplinary Rules of Professional Conduct may conflict with
the Open Meetings Act, including discussion of any item posted on the agenda and legal issues
regarding amortization of nonconforming uses, litigation, settlement offers, and/or claims.
B. RECONVENE INTO CHAMBERS
Reconvene into chambers for regular session and consider action, if any, on items discussed in
Executive Session.
C. PUBLIC HEARING
1) Case #PZ 04-08 to receive citizen’s comments regarding a request for rezoning of Lots 4, 5, and
6 Block 10 of Oak Crest Addition, in the City of Kennedale, Tarrant County, Texas. The property
is located at 5500 W. Mansfield Hwy. The zoning at the present time is “R-1” (Single Family
Residential) and is proposed to rezone to “I” (Industrial), as requested by Pat Doescher.
2) Case #PZ 04-09 to receive citizen’s comments regarding a request for rezoning of Lots 9, 10a,
10b thru 13a, 14 thru 18, 19a, and 20 thru 22 Block 4 of Oak Crest Addition, in the City of
Kennedale, Tarrant County, Texas. The property is located at 1121 W. Mansfield Hwy. The
zoning at the present time is “C-1” (Restricted Commercial) and is proposed to rezone to “I”
(Industrial), as requested by Pat Doescher.
3) Case #PZ 04-10 to receive citizen’s comments regarding a request for rezoning of Lots 4 and 5
Block 10 of Oak Crest Addition, in the City of Kennedale, Tarrant County, Texas. The property is
located at 6701 Oak Crest Dr. E. The zoning at the present time is “R-1” (Single Family
Residential) and is proposed to rezone to “I” (Industrial), as requested by Henry D. Rolan.
4) Case #PZ 04-11 to receive citizen’s comments regarding a request for rezoning of Lots 37 & 38
Block 1 of Oak Crest Addition, in the City of Kennedale, Tarrant County, Texas. The property is
located at 6813 Oak Crest Dr. W. The zoning at the present time is “R-1” (Single Family
Residential) and is proposed to rezone to “I” (Industrial), as requested by Susan Lopez
Berenjinataj.
5) Case #PZ 04-12 to receive citizen’s comments regarding a request for rezoning of Lots 1, 2, & 3
Block 10 of Oak Crest Addition, in the City of Kennedale, Tarrant County, Texas. The property is
located at 6721 Oak Crest Dr. E, 6723 Oak Crest Dr. E, & 6725 Oak Crest Dr. E. The zoning at
the present time is “R-1” (Single Family Residential) and is proposed to rezone to “I” (Industrial),
as requested by Ron Sturgeon.
6) Case # PZ 04-13 to receive citizen’s comments regarding a request for rezoning of Lots 35 & 36
Block 1 of Oak Crest Addition, in the City of Kennedale, Tarrant County, Texas. The property is
located at 6817 Oak Crest Dr. E. The zoning at the present time is “R-1” (Single Family
Residential) and is proposed to rezone to “I” (Industrial), as requested by Cody Nicholson.
D. VISITORS/CITIZENS FORUM
At this time, any person with business before the Planning and Zoning Commission not scheduled on
the Agenda may speak to the Commission, provided that a “Speaker’s Request Form” has been
completed and submitted to the Planning and Zoning Commission Secretary prior to the start of the
meeting. All comments must be directed towards the Chairman, rather than individual P & Z
members of staff. All speakers must limit their comments to the subject matter as listed on the
“Speaker’s Request Form.” No formal action can be taken on these items.
