COUNCIL CHAMBERS 7:00 PM CALL TO ORDER ROLL CALL A. EXECUTIVE SESSION The Planning and Zoning Commission will meet in closed session pursuant to Section 551.071 of t he Texas Government Code for consultation with the City Attorney pertaining to any matter in which the duty of the City Attorney under the Texas Disciplinary Rules of Professional Conduct may conflict wi th the Open Meetings Act, including discussion of any item posted on the agenda and legal issues regarding amortization of nonconforming uses, litigation, settlement offers, and/or claims. B. RECONVENE INTO CHAMBERS Reconvene into chambers for regular se ssion and consider action, if any, on items discussed in Executive Session. C. PUBLIC HEARING 1) Case #PZ04-04 to receive citizen’s comments regarding a request for rezoning of lots 9B Block 1 of Oliv er Acres Addition, in the City of Kennedale, from AG (Agricultural) to R3 (Single Family Residential), as requested by George Arias. D. VISITORS/CITIZENS FORUM At this time, any person with busi ness before the Planning and Zoning Commission not scheduled on the Agen da may speak to the Commission, provided that a “Speaker’s Request Form” has been completed and submitted to the Planning and Zoning Commission Secretary prior to the start of the meeting. All comm ents must be directed towards the Chairman, rather than individual P & Z members of staff. All speakers must limit their comments to the subj ect matter as listed on the “Speaker’s Request Form.” No formal action can be taken on these items. E. REGULAR ITEMS 1) Approval of minutes: regular meeting dated March 18, 2004. 2) Case #PZ04-04 to consider approval of a request for rezoning of lots 9B Block 1 of Oliver Acres Addition, in the City of Kennedale, from AG (Agricultural) to R3 (Single Family Residential), as requested by George Arias.
