CALL TO ORDER
ROLL CALL
A. EXECUTIVE SESSION
The Planning and Zoning Commission will meet in closed session
pursuant to Section 551.071 of t he Texas Government Code for
consultation with the City Attorney pertaining to any matter in which the
duty of the City Attorney under the Texas Disciplinary Rules of
Professional Conduct may conflict wi th the Open Meetings Act, including
discussion of any item posted on the agenda and legal issues regarding
amortization of nonconforming uses, litigation, settlement offers, and/or
claims.
B. RECONVENE INTO CHAMBERS
Reconvene into chambers for regular se ssion and consider action, if any, on
items discussed in Executive Session.
C. PUBLIC HEARING
1) Case #PZ04-01 to receive citizen’s comments regarding a request for
rezoning of lots 9R1 Blo ck 1 and 9R2 Block 1 of O liver Acres Addition, in
the City of Kennedale, from AG (Agr icultural) to R3 (Single Family
Residential).
2) Case #PZ04-02 to receive citizen’s comments regarding a request for
rezoning of Tract 31K1F of David Strickland Survey A-1376, in the City of
Kennedale, Tarrant County, Texas. The property is located on Gilman
Rd. The zoning at the present time is “AG” (Agricultural) and is proposed
to rezone to “I” (Industrial).
3) Case #PZ04-03 to receive citizen’s comments relative to a proposal to
approve a re-plat of Lot 1R1A and 1R1B of FWT, Inc. Addition, in the City
of Kennedale, TX.
D. VISITORS/CITIZENS FORUM
At this time, any person with busi ness before the Planning and Zoning
Commission not scheduled on the Agen da may speak to the Commission,
provided that a “Speaker’s Request Form” has been completed and
submitted to the Planning and Zoning Commission Secretary prior to the
start of the meeting. All comm ents must be directed towards the
Chairman, rather than individual P & Z members of staff. All speakers
must limit their comments to the subj ect matter as listed on the “Speaker’s
Request Form.” No formal action can be taken on these items.
E. REGULAR ITEMS
1) Approval of minutes: regular meeting dated February 26, 2004.
2) Case #PZ04-01 to consider approval regarding a request for rezoning
of lots 9R1 Block 1 and 9R2 Block 1 of Oliver Acres Addition, in the
City of Kennedale, from AG (Agric ultural) to R3 (Single Family
Residential).
3) Case #PZ04-02 to consider approval regarding a request for rezoning
