KENNEDALE CITY COUNCIL
PUBLIC HEARINGS - NOVEMBER 15, 1993
100 E. BROADWAY ST. - COMMUNITY CENTER
7:00 P.M.
Mayor Abbott called the public hearings to order at 7:05 p.m.
Members present were Mayor Abbott, Mark Wright, Robert Mundy and Tom
Boone. Pete Kirkpatrick and Ron Kovach were absent.
Staff present were Michael Box, Ted Rowe and Kathy Turner.
Public Hearing No. 1 - To receive citizens comments regarding a proposed
annexation requested by FWT, Inc.
Mr. Wayne Winters representing FWT, Inc., spoke in favor of the
annexations and pointed out that the two tracts being annexed were
already in the designated reinvestment zone.
No one else wished to speak for or against the annexation.
Public Hearing No. 2 - To receive citizens comments regarding a proposed
annexation by a majority of the qualified voters
of an area contiguous of the City of Kennedale.
Mr. and Mrs. Donald McCrary, 7817 Swiney Hiett Road spoke in favor of
the annexation.
No one else spoke for or against the annexation.
Mayor Abbott adjourned the public hearings at 7:08 p.m.
