DATE© BE IT ORDA S: BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF CITY OF KENNEDALE, 1. No building or other structure shall be moved from one location to another within the corporate limits of the City of Kennedale, Texas, or moved frona without the City to a location inside the City of Kennedale, or Moved from a location in the City of Kennedale, outside said City, or moved through the corporate limits of the City of Kennedale, Texas, without the person moving or causing to be moved said building or other structure first making application for and obtaining a permit from the City of Kennedale, and paying a permit fee therefor, as herein provided. 2. Said application shall be in writing, signed by the person applying therefor, and giving the location from and to which the structures to be moved, a description of the structure and its value, the date of anticipated moving, and the me and address of the applicant and also of the owner of such structure. 3. Upon approval of the application by the City Building Inspector or City Police Chief, and after payment of the hereinafter prescribed fee, the City Secretary shall issue a written permit to the applicant for such moving, which permit shall specify the date and time when the moving is to be accomplished, and the route to be traveled in moving said structure. 4. The Police Chief shall have the right and is hereby given the authority to supervise the moving of any structure, if such move requires the use of any public street or thoroughfare or alley within the City of Kennedale, Texas, and to prescribe the time of moving, the route to be traveled, and other reasonable rules and regulations to protect the safety of the public in accomplishing said move. 5. The permit fee for the moving of any building or other structure shall be the sum of $5.00, and if any public street or thoroughfare is to be used in accomplishing said move, there shall be an additional fee of $10.00 for the first day and $10.00 for each additional day that the building or structure being moved is on any city street, alley or other public property or thoroughfare. 6. No permit for the moving of any building or other structure to be located within the City of Kennedale, shall be issued unless such building or structure is in conformity with all applicable building ordinances of the City of Kennedale, Texas, or if such building is not in conformity with other ordinances, unless simultaneous application is -,de for building permit to repair said structure so as to make it conform to all applicable ordinances of the City of Kennedale, and the applicable fee for such building permit paid. 7. Any person, firm or corporation, or agent thereof, violating any of the provisions'of this ordi- nance, or neglecting or refusing to comply with any order or notice made pursuant to the provisions hereof, shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon con- viction shall be fined in any sum not to exceed $200,00, and each day that any violation of this ordinance continues shall be deemed to constitute a distinct and separate offense. 8. This ordinance shall be effective -immediately upon its passage and approval, and publication as by law provided. ADOP1713 AND APPROVED this 11 day of 1963.
