Meeting, and/or a ® Regular Meeting, will be held by the governing body of the City of
Kennedale, Texas on the 8 day of June 2000, at 6:30 P.M., at 100 E. Broadway St.,
( Kennedale Community Center) at which time the following subjects will be discussed

A. PUBLIC HEARINGS
1. To receive citizen's comments regarding a proposed zone change of 14.79 acres from "R-
2" Single Family District to "AG" Agriculture District. The request is from four property
owners: Ima C. Story, 901 Little School Road; Christine Uddleston Mitchell, 909 Little
School Road; Turk Gibson, 913 Little School Road; and Paula A. Suttle, 925 Little
School Road.
2. To receive citizen's comments regarding a proposed ordinance to amend Ordinance No.
153, Park Dedication Requirements.
B. VISITORS /CITIZENS FORUM
At this time, any person with business before the Council not scheduled on the agenda may
speak to the Council, provided that a "Speaker's Request Form" has been completed and
submitted to the City Secretary prior to the start of the meeting. All comments must be
directed towards the Presiding Officer rater than individual Councilmembers or staff. All
speakers must limit their comments to the subject matter as listed on the "Speaker's Request
Form ". No formal action can be taken on these items.
C. REGULAR ITEMS
1. Consider approval of minutes: City Council minutes of the May 11, 2000 workshop and
regular meeting.
2. Consider appointment of Mayor -Pro Tem.
3. Consider approval of request from Duncan Disposal for a temporary surcharge of three
percent 3 % applicable to commercial customers.
4. Consider approval of Ordinance No. 193, Zone Change 00 -02 to "AG" Agriculture
District. Requested by Mrs. Story, Mrs. Mitchell, Mr. Gibson, and Ms. Suttle.
5. Consider approval of Computer Usage Policy and Disclaimer for The Kennedale Library.

6. Consider approval of Resolution No. 115 suspending the proposed effective date of the
proposed rate schedules on TXU Gas Distribution.

Requirements.
9. Consider approval to purchase a vehcile for the Street Department,

F. EXECUTIVE SESSION
The City Council will meet in closed session pursuant to Section 551.071 of the Texas
Government Code for consultation with the City Attorney pertaining to (1) any matter in
which the duty of the City Attorney under the Texas Disciplinary Rules of Professional
Conduct may conflict with the Open Meetings Act, including discussion of any item
posted on the agenda; (2) legal issues regarding amortization of nonconforming uses and
(3) litigation, settlement offers, and /or claims.
2. The City Council will meet in closed session to deliberate the purchase, exchange, or
value of real property, Section 551.072, Texas Government Code.
3. The City Council will meet in closed session to deliberate the appointment, employment,
evaluation, reassignment, duties, discipline, or dismissal of a public officer or employee,
Section 551.074, Texas Government Code.
G. RECONVENE INTO REGULAR SESSION AND CONSIDER ACTION, IF ANY, ON
