KENNEDALE CITY COUNCIL
PUBLIC HEARING - JiJNE 12, 1997

Mayor Mundy called the public hearings to order at 7:34 p.m.

Members present were Mayor Mundy, Councilmen Wright, Barrett and Kovach. Councilman
Boone and Steeno were absent.
Staff present were Ted Rowe, Michael Box, Lynette Whidden, Linda Royster, and Mort
Wetterling. Legal Counsel was absent.
Public Hearing No. 1 - To receive citizens comments regarding a proposed annexation of Lot 3,
Raceway Estates, including Kennedale New Hope Road, requested by Mr. Ronnie Peterson and
Mrs. Hope Hutchison.
No persons signed in to speak for or against the proposed annexation, therefore, Mayor Mundy
closed public hearing number one.
Public Hearing No. 2 - To receive citizens comments regarding a request to amend the
Kennedale City Code, Chapter 17-421, Schedule of Uses to add "Vehicle Temporary Storage
Facility", requested by Mr. Eric Elam.
Being, no persons signed in to speak for or against the proposed amendment to the Kennedale
City Code, Chapter 17-421, Mayor Mundy closed public hearing number two.
Public Hearing No. 3 - To receive citizens comments regarding a request to replat Lot 1R,
Block 1, FWT, Inc. Addition to Lots 1R1 and Lot 2R, Block 1, FWT, Inc. Addition. This request
has been submitted by Mr. F.P. Greenhaw, Engineer for FWT, Inc.
No persons signed in to speak for or against the proposed replat; therefore, Mayor Mundy closed
public hearing number three.
Public Hearing No. 4 - To receive citizens comments and to consider a proposed Ordinance
amending Chapter 13 and Chapter 17, Article VI "Zoning" of the Kennedale City Code (1991) as
amended by providing for regulations for the use of Recreational Vehicles, Manufactured Homes
and Mobile Homes.
No persons signed in to speak regarding the proposed ordinance amending Chapter 13 and
Chapter 17, Article VI of the Kennedale City Code (1991), to Mayor Mundy closed public
hearing number four.
There being no further discussion, Mayor Mundy adjourned at 7:40 p.m.
