Discussions:
Key activitity will be to comply with Keep Texas Beautiful Affiliate requirements.
1 Request the City Council to approve two more places for the Keep
( Kennedale Beautiful Affiliate.
It was decided we need to pick a project we want to work on such as
partnering with the City Wide Clean -up days held in May and in the
Fall. Emphasis could be on specific streets such as the Parkway,
Little and Sublett Rds.
How do we finance our projects?
KTB Grants and Kennedale's EDC may be sources of help. Doug
Parker will talk to the EDC about possible funding. There is State funding
available once we get through KTB requirements.
Coca -Cola will help with safety vests.
Other suggestions were: Plant trees
Summertime Award for prettiest yard
Trash cans along the hiway
Adopt a neighborhood
Adopt a street
