O88-14ORDINANCE NO. 88 -14 AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE POSTING OF STOP SIGNS ON N. KENNEY STREET, N. SULPHUR STREET, N. SPILLER STREET, N. CHITWOOD STREET, N. CAYLEBAITE STREET, N. MAIN STREET, AND ARTHUR DRIVE; PROVIDING FOR PENALTY, PUBLICATION AND EFFECTIVE DATE. Be it ordained by the City Council of Kennedale, Texas that: SECTION 1. Kennedale City Code Chapter 16, Article 4 Sections 16 -41, is hereby amended by adding the following stop sign locations to the existing ordinance: (68) On N. Kenney Street at its intersection with Broadway, requiring a stop by vehicular traffic on N. Kenney Street before entering said intersection. (69) On N. Sulphur Street at its intersection with Broadway, requiring a stop by vehicular traffic on N. Sulphur Street before entering said intersection. (70) On N. Spiller Street at its intersection with Broadway, requiring a stop by vehicular traffic on N. Spiller Street before entering said intersection. (71) On N. Chitwood Street at its intersection with Broadway, requiring a stop by vehicular traffic on N. Chitwood Street before entering said intersection. (72) On N. Caylebaite Street at its intersection with Broadway, requiring a stop by vehicular traffic on N. Caylebaite Street before entering said intersection. (73) On N. Main Street at its intersection with Broadway, requiring a stop by vehicular traffic on N. Main Street before entering said intersection. (74) On Arthur Drive at its intersection with Paula Street, requiring a stop by vehicular traffic on Arthur Drive before entering said intersection. SECTION 2. All other sections of Article 4 not in conflict with this ordinance shall remain in full force and effect. - 1 - SECTION 3. Any person violating thi8 ordinance shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction shall be fined in an amount not to exceed $200.00. SECTION 4. This ordinance is directed to be published and shall take effect on the 1st day of February 1989. Passed in Open Session of the City Council of Kennedale, Texas, on November 17, 1988.
