O87-15ORDINANCE NO, 87-15 AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING A BUDGET AND APPROPRIATING RESOURCES FOR THE BUDGET YEAR BEGINNING OCTOBER 1, 1987 AND ENDING SEPTEMBER 30 1988. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENNEDAL[ TEXAS THAT: SECTION 1, That the budget estimate of the revenues and expenditures for the City of Kennada]e and appropriated by the City Council for the fiscal year beginning October 1 1987 and ending September 30 1988 be and is hereby adopted and approved for such fiscal year. SECTION 2^ That the sum of One Million, Four Hundred Sixty-Six Thousand, Nine Hundred Fifty Dollars ($1 is hereby appropriated out of the General Food Revenues for the payment of operating expenses, oapital outlay, interest accrued and for paying the prinoipal. and interest on General Obligation Bonds as they mature during the year/ as set forth in the doto/} of the hod8ot^ SECTION 3. That the sum of Five Hundred Eighty Two Thousand, Three Hundred Fifteen Dollars ($502 is hereby appropriated out of the Wafer/Sewer Fond Revenues for the payment of operating expenses, capital outlay interest accrued and for paying the principal and interest on Revenue Bonds as they mature during the year as set forth in detail in the budget. SECTION 4. That the sum of Nineteen Thousand, Four Hundred Twenty-Nine Dollars and 60/100 cents ($19 is hereby appropriated out of the Ambulance Fund for the purpose of paying the operating expenses and capital outlay as listed in detail in the budget. SECTION 5. Due to the fact that the Fiscal Year of the City of Kennedale, Texas, begins October 1ot of each year/ and due to the fact that the uutsfanding obligations have been incurred and are to be incurred by the City of Keonedale and due to the fact that the City of Kenoedale must adopt its rates and its budget before the beginning of the Fiscal Year, an emergency is created and it is an imperative public nm^oaoity that this appropriation and rate ordinance be declared an emergency and the same is so declared to be an emergency and this Ordinance shall take effect and be in full force from and after its paaouOa. SECTION 6^ That this ordinance be in full force and effect from and after it's adoption. PASSED AND APPROVED this 24th day of September, 1987.
