O85-28ORDINANCE NO. 85_28 AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING THE HEREINAFTER DESCRIBED TERRITORY TO THE CITY OF KENNEDALE, TARRANT COUNTY, TEXAS AND EXTENDING THE BOUNDARY LIMITS OF SAID CITY SO AS TO INCLUDE SAID HEREINAFTER DESCRIBED PROPERTY WITHIN THE CITY LIMITS, AND GRANTING TO SAID TERRITORY AND TO ALL FUTURE INHABITANTS OF SAID PROPERTY ALL OF THE RIGHTS AND PRIVLEGES OF OTHER CITIZENS AND BINDING SAID FUTURE INHABITANTS BY ALL OF THE ACTS AND ORDINANCES OF THE SAID CITY; AND FURTHER ESTABLISHING THE ZONING FOR SAID TERRITORY AS F ZONING. WHEREAS, a petition for annexation has been duly signed and acknowledged by each and every person or corporation having an interest in the following described territory, to- wit: Tracts 31F, 31F4 and 31F4B, out of the David Strickland Survey, Abstract 1376 of Tarrant County, Texas containing .692 acres of land. WHEREAS, said tract of land is contiguous and adjacent to the City of Kennedale, Texas, and is not more than one - half (' mile in width, and WHEREAS, said petition was presented to 'the City Council on the 19th day of November , 1985, such date being not less than 5 and not more than 900 days from the date hereof, and WHEREAS, after hearing such petition and the arguments for and against the same the City Council has voted to grant such petition and to annex said territory to the City of Kennedale, Texas; NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENNEDALE, TEXAS, that Section 1. That the following described property, to- wit: Tracts 31F, 31F4 and 31F4B, out of the David Strickland Survey, Abstract 1376 of Tarrant County, Texas containing. .692 acres of land be and the same is hereby annexed to the City of Kennedale, Tarrant County, Texas, and that the boundary limits of the City of Kennedale, Texas, be and the same are hereby extended to include the above described territory within the city limits of the City of Kennedale, Texas, and the same shall hereafter be included within the territorial limits of said city, and said land and the future inhabitants thereof shall hereafter by entitled to all rights and privileges of other citizens of the City of Kennedale, Texas, and shall be bound by the acts and ordinances of said city. Section 2. The zoning for the above described tract of land is hereby established as F zoning. Section 3. The City Clerk is hereby directed to file with the County Clerkof Tarrant County, Texas a certified copy of this ordinance. He received the decoration for his meritorious service in - providing operational and administrative sup - port to the Air Station, and to Marine Aircraft Group 31, 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing, Beaufort, from January 1 to December 31, 1984. During this time, the unit provided administrative support to more than 750 personnel to the Squadron and staff of Marine Corps Air Station, Beaufort, as well as contributed to the combat readiness of the tactical squadrons.
