ORDER APPOINTING BOARD OF EQUALIZATION
THE STATE OF TEXAS
COUNTY OF TARRANT
The City Council of the City of Kennedale, Texas convened in
regular session on this the 8th day of May, 1980, at the regular
meeting place with the following members of said Council present,
to -wit:
Steve Radakovich Mayor
C lara Sand'ers'on Mayor Pro. -Tem
George Lowery Councilman
Wayne Winters Councilman
Charles Kuykendall Councilman
Dwlght`Miller Councilman
Tyne Reflogal City Secretary
with the following absent, to -wit none constituting a quorum,
among other proceedings was the following:
Clara Sanderson introduced a proposed order and made a motion
that it be passed, The motion was seconded by George Lowery.
The motion carrying with it the passage of the order prevailed
by the .following vote:
AYES: Clara Sanderson, George bowery, Wayne Winters, Charles
Kuykendall and Dwight Miller,
NAYS: None
The order was passed as follows;
AN ORDER APPOINTING A BOARD OF EQUALIZATION FOR THE TEAR 1980,
WHEREAS, it is necessary that a Board of Equalization be appointed
to examine, correct, equalize, appraise and approve the lists
of Assessors.
THEREFORE, BE IT ORDERED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
KENNEDALE, TEXAS
1. That Steve Radakovich, Clara Sanderson,, George bowery,
Wayne Winters, Charles Kuykendall and Dwight.'Miller, each being
a qualified voter, a resident and property owner of the City of
Kennedale, Texas be, and they are hereby appointed as, the Board
of Equalization in and for the year 1980.
2. Before said Board shall enter into its duties, each member
thereof shall subscribe to the following oath of office:
I, as a member of the Board of Equalization of the City of
Kennedale, Texas for the year A.D., 1980, hereby solemnly swear:
That I will faithfully execute the duties of the office of
Member of the Board of Equalization of the City of Kennedale of
the State of Texas, and will to the best of my ability perserve,
protect and defend the Constitution and Laws of the United
States and of this State; and I furthermore solemnly swear
that I have not directly nor indirectly paid, offered, or
promised to pay, contributed, nor promised to contribute any
money, or valuable thing, or promised any public office or
employment, as a reward to secure my appointment or the
confirmation thereof. So help me God.
