AN ORDINANCE INCREASING SEWER CHARGES FOR RESIDENTIAL
CUSTOMERS AS CONTAINED IN KENNEDALE ORDINANCE NO. 76-10
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENNEDALE, TEXAS:
1. That Sub -paragraph (1), of Sub -section (b), of SECTION 1,
of KENNEDALE ORDINANCE NO. 76-10, relating to monthly service charge
for sewer system customers of the City of Kennedale, is hereby amended
to read as follows:
"(1) A monthly service charge shall be charged to
all customers in the amount of $2.00."
2. That the first sentence only of Sub -paragraph (2), of said
Sub -section (b), of SECTION 1, of KENNEDALE ORDINANCE NO. 76-10,
relating to monthly volume charge to sewer system customers of the
City of Kennedale, is hereby amended to read as follows:
"(2) A monthly volume charge shall also be charged
to all customers in the amount of $0.438 per thousand
gallons of water used, or. waste water produced."
3. The increase in sewer charge provided by this Ordinance
shall be effective with service rendered in March, 1978, and with
monthly billings for sewer service rendered on and after April 1,
1978.
4. Except as herein amended, said KENNEDALE ORDINANCE NO. 76-10
shall continue in full force and effect as heretofore adopted.
ADOPTED AND APPROVED this 8th day of December, 1977.
