O76-05CITY OF KENNEDALE ORDINANCE NO. 76-5
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 74-2 SO AS TO IN-
CREASE THE PRIMA FACIE MAXIMUM SPEED LIMIT ON A PART
OF KENNEDALE-SUBLETT ROAD TO 45 MILES PER HOUR, AND
OTHERWISE EXPRESSLY RATIFYING SAID ORDINANCE NO. 74-2.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENNEDALE, TEXAS:
1. That Paragraph 5 of City of Kennedale Ordinance No.
74-2, adopted on June 13, 1974, is hereby amended by adding thereto
Subparagraph (b-1), so as to increase the prima facie maximum reason-
able and prudent speed to 45 miles per hour on that portion of the
Kennedale-Sublett Road between a point Q®' miles east of its inter-
section with Old U. S. Highway 287 eastward to its intersection with
Kennedale Little School Road, said Subparagraph (b-1) to appear be-
tween Subparagraphs (b) and (c) of Paragraph 5, and to read as fol-
lows:
"(b-1) Forty-five (45) miles per hour on that por-
tion of Kennedale-Sublett Road from a point 0®4
miles east of its intersection with Old U. S.
Highway 287 eastward to its intersection with the
Kennedale Little School Road."
2. Except as hereinabove amended, said City of Kenne-
dale Ordinance No. 74-2 is expressly ratified and affitmed as orig-
inally adopted, and it is expressly stipulated that the penal pro-
visions of said Ordinance No. 74-2 shall apply to violations of the
amended speed limit herein provided.
