AN CE RECEIVING AND ANNEXING TERRITORY AD-
JACE i" AND CONTIGUOUS TO THE CITY OF KENNEDALE,
PROVIDING THAT SUCH AREA IS HEREBY =; E
A PART OF SAID CITY AND THE OWNERS AND INHABITANTS
THEREOF SHALL BE ENTITLED TO ALL THE PRIVILEGES OF
OTHER PROPERTY OWNERS AND CITIZENS OF SAID CITY,
AND SHALL BE BOUND By THE ACTS AND ORDINANCES NOW
IN EFFECT AND TO BE HEREAFTER ADOPTED; FURTHER
PROVIDING FOR THE AMENDING AND CORRECTING OF THE
OFFICIAL BOUNDARIES OF SAID CITY AS i TOFORE
ADOPTED, TO INCLUDE SAID LAND AND TERRITORY, AND
FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, after due notice a required by the Texas Munici-
pal Annexation Act, the City Council of the City of Kennedale, Tex-
a , has duly held public h ring on the question of whether s yid
City should institute nnexaticn proceedings on the hereinafter de-
scribed property ,nd territory, giving all interested persons an
opportunity to be heard thereon.; and
WHEREAS, said City Council, after such public hearing
nd within the tie prescribed by law, has determined that it will
be in the best interest of said City of Kennedale, Texas, its in-
haabitants, and the owners and inhabitants of the herei fter de-
scribed property, that such land and territory be annexed to the
City of Kennedale, Texas;
WHEREAS, all of the owners of said hereinafter described
property have filed their written petition requesting annexation
of aid property to the City of Kennedale, Texas; and
WHEREAS, at a regu1 r meeting on this 11th day of May,
1972, said City Council has duly considered such annexation, and
finds that all terrt_o hereinafter described is situated with-
in the extra-territori 1 jurisdiction of the City of Kennedale,
as established by agreement between the City of Kennedale d the
City of Fort Worth, Texas, that it is adj c nt and contiguous to
the existing boundaries of aaid City, that it ,.a not more than
one-half mile in width, and that all statutory requirements and
conditions for ann .xation of said territory have been performed,
fulfilled nd met; now, therefore
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL ° F THE CITY OF KEN )A `,, TEXAS:
Section I. That the land and territory hereinafter de-,
scribed, lying entirely within the extra -territorial jurisdiction
of the City of Kennedale, Texas,, and b in adjacent and contigu-
ous to the existing boundar:ie of said City, be, and the same is
hereby annexed to and brought within the corporate boundaries,
nd herby made an integral part of the City of Kenned.ale, Texas,
such 1 nd and territory hereby annexed being described as follows,

Being all of Lot 7, of the W. J. Boaz Estate Subdi ision in the
M. F. Scott Survey, Abstract 1450, the Ce B. Teague Survey, Ab-
stract 765, in Tarrant County, Texas, ,ccording to plat thereof
regarded in the Deed Records of Tarrar, t County, Texas; SAVE AND
EXCEPT the portion th reof already within the prior existin`
bond.ries of the City of Kennedale, Texas, such portion be
the West 200 yards of said Lot 7, said Lot 7 being entirely with
in the said M. F. Scott Survey; and it being intended to hereby
d scribe all of Lot 7 which is not already within the corporate
limits of the City f Kennedale, Texas.
Section 2. That the owners and inhabitants of the prop-
erty above described and hereby annexed be, and they are hereby
declared entitled to all of the rights and privileges of other
property owners and citizens of the City of Kennedale, Texas,
and shall henceforth be bound by all of the acts and ordinances
of said City of Kenr.edale, Texas, which are now in fore., and of
f ct, nd which i:y be hereafter adopted
Section 3w That the official boundaries of the City of
e le, Texas, as heretofore adopted and amended, be and they
are hereby corrected and amended, so as to include th; above de-
scribed area and territory as a part of the City of ennedaIe,
Texas
Section 4, That this ordinance shall become
immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayo
