AN ORDINANCE AMENDING KENNEDALE ORDINANCE NO.
69-10, ADOPTED ON AUGUST 14, 1969, RELATING
TO WATER RATES TO MOBILE HOME PARKS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KE EDALE, TEXAS:
1. That Kennedale Ordinance No. 69-10, adopted on the
14th day of August, 1969, which said ordinance fends the Ken-
nedale Water Rate Ordinance, being Kennedale Ordinance No. 22
adopted on October 1, 1954, by addition of a section entitled
"Section IV. to said ordinance No. 22, be, and said Kennedale
Ordinance No. 69-10, is hereby ended by the re -wording of
said 'Section IV' to said Kennedale Ordinance No. 22, so as to
hereafter read as follows:
"Section IV.
Every mobile home trailer connected either
directly or indirectly to the Kennedale
Municipal Water System, and regardless of
whether located in a mobile home or trailer
park or elsewhere, shall be deemed either a
single residential family unit or a single
place of business, depending on its use for
either residential or business purposes,
within the meaning and for the purposes of
this ordinance; provided, however, each mo-
bile home park within the City of Kennedale
that is served with a single master water me-
ter at the time of the adoption of this amend-
ment, without individual meters installed for
each trailer at the time of the adoption of
this amendment, iay be billed as a single
coercial unit at co nercial rates through
the master peter, as if a single business
custoier, but no permit shall be issued for
any mobile home park in the future, or for
the enlargement of any existing mobile home
park, without providing for installation of
individual water meters to each individual
trailer or trailer site.
2. Except as hereby amended by the above provision,
which is intended as an additional provision effective on
the date of this en lent, the said Kennedale Ordinance No.
22 and said Kennedale Ordinance No. 69-10 are each hereby
expressly continued in full force and effect as originally
enacted and subsequently amended, and this amendment shall
be in full force and effect from and after the first billing
date for water use subsequent to its passage.
